CONSIDERING WORKING TOGETHER?

Whether you’re exploring a speaking engagement, seeking private advocacy or coaching, or simply curious about what support might look like, you don’t have to have it all figured out before reaching out.

This is a space to ask questions, share a little about what you’re looking for, and see if we’re a good fit, without pressure or expectation.

5 Things That are Helping Me Heal

Because healing is more than procedures… it’s how we return to ourselves.

When people hear the word “healing,” they often think of doctors, medications, and test results, clinic or hospitals. And yes, those things have played a huge role in my journey. But if I’m being truly honest?  The deepest healing hasn’t come from my appointments. It’s come from the in-between moments. The soft places.
The slow rebuild of my soul.
So today, I want to share 5 things that are helping me heal — none of which come from a prescription pad.

1. Nature Walks and Quiet Mornings

There’s something about the morning sun that feels sacred.

Some days, I just step outside barefoot and breathe.

Other days, I go for a walk, letting the wind tangle my hair and the silence do the mending.

Most days, though, I sit by the water. The sound of waves gently lapping, the endless movement, the shimmer of light dancing on its surface—it grounds me.

Water soothes my soul. It listens without needing words. It holds me in a way nothing else can. I go to the water to remember who I am.

Nature reminds me: I’m part of something bigger. I belong. I’m not broken…I’m becoming.

2. Gentle Movement

Not workouts.

Not goals.

Just movement for the sake of being alive in my body.

Some days that means stretching in bed. Other days, I dance in the kitchen or take the dog for a short walk.

Movement is how I say: thank you, body. I’m listening now.

3. Intentional Connection

Healing doesn’t happen in isolation.

Whether it’s a text from a friend, a voice note, a long talk with one of my girls, or even a comment from someone online, connection is medicine.

I’m learning to reach out. To receive.

To let others witness me, even in the messy middle.

4. Creativity

Writing. Designing. Vision boarding. Rearranging my space. Building AdvocateHer.

Creativity gives me a place to channel my emotions without needing to make sense of them.

It turns grief into beauty.

It turns chaos into clarity.

It’s become one of the most sacred parts of my healing process.

5. Spiritual Practice

This has been my anchor.

Meditation, breathwork, self-Reiki, astrology, journaling, the ways I return to myself, to Source, to the part of me that knows.

I’ve stopped looking for answers outside of myself.

I trust my intuition.

I follow the breadcrumbs.

And I believe, truly, that healing isn’t just physical. It’s soul-deep.

Healing is Not Linear

Some days I feel strong and grounded. Other days I feel tender, tired, undone.

But even then…I am healing.

Even the tears are sacred.

Even the rest is progress.

If you’re on a healing journey too… I hope you know:

  • You’re allowed to go slow.

  • You’re allowed to be held.

  • Your healing doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s.

You are doing beautifully.

If you’ve found something that’s helped you heal — body, mind, or soul — I’d love to hear it in the comments. Let’s build a collective library of hope.
