Frequently Asked Questions
What if I already have a medical team I trust?
That’s great!! It doesn’t mean you don’t need support. Even with a wonderful care team, it’s common to feel rushed during appointments, overwhelmed by information, or unsure what to ask next. I work alongside your existing team, not instead of them, helping you stay organized, informed, and confident between visits.
Can you help with things outside of cancer care?
My focus and lived experience are specifically in cancer…diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship. If you’re navigating a different kind of health journey, I may not be the right fit, but I’m happy to point you toward resources that are.
Do you work with men too, or only women?
While my story and my heart are especially drawn to supporting women, I’m open to working with anyone navigating a cancer diagnosis who feels my approach is the right fit for them.
What if I'm not sure I need an advocate yet?
That’s exactly what the free consult call is for. There’s no pressure to commit to anything! We’ll just talk through where you are and what kind of support might actually help, even if that support isn’t with me.
Do you offer support for end-of-life or hospice situations?
Yes. As a bereavement and birth doula alongside my advocacy work, I’m equipped to offer steady, compassionate presence during end-of-life care, not just diagnosis and treatment. I can also help you organize an end-of-life binder, bringing together documents like your will, trust, and power of attorney into one clear, accessible place. (I’m not an attorney, so I don’t draft these documents, but I can help you understand what you need, point you toward the right professional to create them, and then make sure everything is organized and easy to find when it matters most.)
How quickly can we get started?
Often within a few days. After your free consult call, if it feels like the right fit, we can typically begin within the week, because I know that when you’re navigating cancer, time and clarity both matter.
Your FREE Consult Call
